How do I download the AWWA Events mobile app?
Go to your app store Search for AWWA Events (Powered by TPNI) INSTALL After the install is complete choose OPEN The App will ask if you want to receive notifications, chose accept/ok to be notified of important conference information or events Choose the conference you are attending The conference information will download
Already have the AWWA Events app on your phone?
Open the app and select the Menu symbol at the top of the screen, scroll to the bottom of the left navigation, select Change Event, and choose the event you are attending.
Do I have to have WIFI access to download the AWWA Events mobile app?
Yes – to download, you need WIFI or data access
Do I have to have WIFI access to use the AWWA Events mobile app?
No – Once you download, you don’t need WIFI access to use. However, you need WIFI or data access to receive updates and changes.
How do I log into the AWWA Events mobile app?
Easy! Just enter your Last Name and the number under the bar code of your badge
Do I need to log into the AWWA Events mobile app?
No – you can use the mobile app without logging in However, you must log in to create My Agenda, see the Attendee list, or manage your profile.
How do I search within the AWWA Events mobile app? Global Search: Tap on the Search icon (magnifying glass) and start typing. You can search by name, word, or phrase. This area will search within Agenda, Exhibitors, Speakers, and Sponsors. Exhibitor Search: Tap on the Exhibitors icon – this area will only search within the Exhibitor list Speaker Search: Tap on the Speakers icon – this area will only search within the Speaker list Attendee Search: Tap on the Attendee icon – this area will only search within the Attendee list (You must sign into the app using your last name and the number under the bar code of your badge to view this list.)
How do I create a personal schedule within the AWWA Events mobile app?
Within the Agenda, tap on the plus sign on a session or sub-session and it will be added to My Agenda. To remove an item from My Agenda, just tap on the negative sign next to the session or sub-session. Tap on the My Agenda icon on the main screen or tap on My Agenda at the bottom of the Agenda screen to view your personal agenda.
Will My Agenda in the mobile app sync to my Outlook calendar?
No – My Agenda is only within the AWWA Events mobile app
Will My Agenda sync to other devices?
Yes – if you have a tablet that has mobile functionality, it will sync to that device (iPad, Notebook)
If I added a session to My Agenda, does that guarantee that I can attend that session?
No – if it is a session that requires pre-registration or is at maximum capacity, just having it within your agenda does not guarantee access.
Why can’t I see the Attendees?
You must sign into the app using your Last name and the number underneath the bar code on your badge to view the Attendee list
Why can’t I see the pop-up messages?
Your device has settings that allow notifications, you must turn that on. This is not an AWWA Events mobile app setting. You must also have access to WIFI or data to receive these updates. I don’t want to receive any pop-up messages You must turn the notifications setting off within your personal device, this is not an AWWA Events mobile app setting.
